This explosive story totally surprised me and I loved it!   Rosalie Stanton has gained a new fan and I will be eagerly waiting any future books she releases.

Why was this story so amazing?  The characters were some of the funniest, most determined and appealing I have read in ages.  In fact, most of the story revolves around a lust spell that literally takes them over, or does it?!

Arianna is a vampire hunter, who believes it is her duty to rid the world of nasty vampires and demons.  She has no family and makes no friends since her job makes them a liability.  But strangely enough, she finds herself almost liking the company of her seedy vampire informant named Kade.  Kade is extremely attractive, annoying and irreverent.   Sometimes he drives the serious Arianna crazy but he is a valuable confidant.  So Arianna has asked Kade to meet her because she has heard of a new threat.  The Eros. 

The Eros are lust demons who loosen human inhibitions and cause havoc.  Something she wants to prevent an unsuspecting innocent from experiencing by hunting them down.  Surprisingly, Kade offers to help her track them but first he wants to stop by his place to pick up his weapons.  But once they reach his apartment something unexpected occurs.  They are both caught in the lust demon's spell and find they can’t get enough of each other.  And although their minds may protest their outrageous situation, their bodies know exactly what they want!  Even as articles of clothes are sent flying in their frantic haste to get at each other, so are Kade’s and Arianna’s dire threats of retribution once the spell has ended! 

This was a highly entertaining and humorous read!  I loved the snappy dialogue between the 2 characters.  I could really feel the sexual tension between Arianna and Kade.  This story was wickedly fun.  The scenes between the 2 as they try to fight the spell but can’t keep their hands off each other were hilarious.  But the author also skillfully and subtly showed how the scenario brought together 2 lonely people who actually cared for each other and used their predicament to reveal their hidden attraction for each other.  I really feel if they had not been caught in the lust spell by the Eros, these 2 may have ‘missed’ on a real and meaningful relationship because they were afraid to open up to each other and their true feelings.  And because of this I found this story was surprisingly touching.   Throughout the entire novel I could feel the true connection and care the main characters had for each other.

This was a wild romance that kept me laughing, entranced, and completely satisfied.  The characters stole this story and have made me a convert of Rosalie Stanton’s writing.  If you love a fun but deeply emotional stories with strong characters you must try this paranormal romance!!  I loved it!
